I love the recent theory i’ve heard around the Rumbelle fandom recently.. which is that August is Rumpelstiltskin’s son, and he is the one to save Belle from the psychiatric ward under Storybrooke’s hospital. He made a deal with Rumpelstiltskin a long time ago, that he could only leave him until something happened, making him return. And so he has returned. (As for what the happening was, we don’t know!) .. and he owes his father a favor. And so he rescues Belle.

My favourite is when Belle is questioning Rumple about his son. She shows no fear in asking him about his past. She knows all too-well of his reputation and yet she persevered to try and get to know him. She even ‘mocks’ him when he accuses her of trying to discover his secrets. She laughs at him. She knows he’s of no real danger and is so confident and almost smug. I just love that. She’s so confident that she can save him. No fear at all. I love that. A true heroine.

Why you love them
1. similar ships
I suppose I really love them because I’ve always had a things for forbidden love. It’s come from my obsession with Jareth/Sarah from the Labyrinth. I think the things I love about it most is the huge barrier between them, and how they can overcome that obstacle and achieve true love. The Beauty & Beast aspect also appeals so much to me.. because it’s not a ‘stereotypical’ love.. and i love seeing love represented in different shapes and sizes! It makes it all the more magic!
2. meaning
Again, it’s the whole ‘forbidden love’ aspect of things. I believe that if you fight for love, it makes love worth while.

I know everyone is centered on the teacup (and they should be.. since it’s such a lovely important part of their storyline) .. but i truly love the Rose. *ahem* I mean ‘Gaston’. ;) .. I think it’s so important since it’s a gift.. a present.. a thing given to someone one loves.. and the fact it relates to the original story makes it even better. A rose symbolizes love. Eternal love (even though roses wilt..), and so I just think it was such a lovely thing to have.

When Belle is talking about what love means to her. It’s the most when Rumpelstiltskin finally realizes he loves her. With that slight shake of his head.

Most important? THAT GOLD SOMEHOW HELPS SAVE BELLE. I love the theory that he uses Emma’s ‘favor’ to help rescue her. That would be magnificent!

I can’t get the whole playing ‘Romeo and Juliet’ thing out of my head! How gentlemanly and how romantic it was! ^^ .. too adorable! It was the best thing. Just that little touch of intimacy. Perfect..
